What to Expect

  • Submit the form to join the talent pool (1099 contractors)

  • Receive an email invite to the private Slack channel

  • Upload your profile image via the private Slack channel

  • Your profile will then be added to the “Talent Pool” section inside the “Meet the Team” page. In the background, we will begin marketing and promoting the talent pool to potential clients who are interested in our services.

  • Ask questions & be prepared to take on your first project

  • Once a project is ready, you will be given a request to join a specific dev team.

  • Prior to request, you will be required to fill out a 1099 form for tax purposes.

  • If you accept the project, you will be integrated into a bi-weekly sprint and given more details of the project. This will also include automated daily standups in Slack.

  • We expect not every team member will be able to remain on projects till the end of life on every project. (Life happens) But if possible, please give us enough time to find a replacement.

  • Since you are considered a 1099 contractor, you can set your own hours and availability. This is designed to be extremely flexible and to work within your schedule.

  • Depending on your availability, it’s possible you may be offered more than one project at the same time. You choose to accept or decline based on what you believe you can handle.

  • Since this is a 1099 contracted work, you will need to set aside your own taxes. You will also not be provided insurance. We can direct you to a tax professional if needed.

  • Once you have completed your first project with us, feel free to add us to your LinkedIn profile under experience. We will be happy to vouch for you to any future employers.
